Zenmyouji Temple and Koan-ji Temple
Fuchu City is a treasure house of wonderful temples....
Quietly look at yourself and then contemplate the history of the battle.
Zenmyouji Temple and Koan-ji Temple are located so close to each other that they are right next to each other, yet they have completely different atmospheres.
After spending some time at Zenmyouji Temple, visitors heading to Koan-ji Temple will encounter pieces of historical figures.
Fujiwara Hidesato, Minamoto Yoshitsune, Benkei, Ashikaga Takauji, Emperor Godaigo, Ashikaga Ujimitsu, Uesugi, Go-Hojo... Nitta Yoshisada, too.
It is a sad history of a temple that has become a fortress for battles.
The temple has been ruined many times, then restored, and so on.
This is a trip to feel such history.

When we visit shrines in Tokyo, we are often amazed at the sanctuaries that have been protected by the people.
Flood, fire, earthquake, war, and worship.
Small shrines, shrines perched on the rooftops of buildings, and shrines directly under expressways.
Sanctuaries that are close to people in any form, and the guardians who protect them.
I made this video to share these beautiful images with you!
The Japanese landscape and the Japanese people of the past remain in old photographs.
Some of the photos are around 100 years old, some are about 150 years old, and some are 85 years old.
Please feel the connection with the people of the past!
