Country music singer Jason Aldean has defended himself against accusations of promoting lynching and racism in the music video for his song "Try That in a Small Town." The video was recently removed from CMT due to the controversy surrounding its content. Aldean took to Twitter to clarify that the video does not reference race and expressed his disappointment over the dangerous and unfounded accusations. He explained that the song is about the sense of community he experienced while growing up and when caring for neighbors — irrespective of their differences.
