As believers there are going to be times that the enemy is going to pay us a visit. There are a myriad of ways he comes in and what he does to people's lives. So many believers everywhere will attest to the fact that they routinely pray over their homes, families and all that pertain them.

Yet still the enemy finds ways to come into prayed-over homes and afflict the believers. Sometimes the enemy comes around now and again to see what the state of the believers home is like.

Just as Satan "departed Jesus for a season" he came back around again and again. Ultimately he was defeated victoriously by Christ on the Cross.

One thing I do know is when the enemy comes around out of the blue, I am not taken by surprise. It is what he does and I always stay alert because I am quickened in my spirit.

In 1 John 5:18-19 it reads: "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness."

Our God has a great Love-Hold upon us and Satan can never win. To touch us is to touch the apple of our Father's eye. God will never let Satan touch you even though he comes very near to you as he did to Jesus. The Victory is promised.

"God himself underwrites your battle and has appointed His own Son ‘The Captain of [your] salvation’ (Hebrews 2:10)." ~ William Gurnall
