Mmoteng Pass Road Traffic Collision
Info From Licensor: "A truck had blocked the road on a steep curve high up in the the Moteng Pass between the Butha-Buthe and Mokhotlong towns in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho in the mid-afternoon of the 28th June 2016 between 1500hrs and 1600hrs (GMT+2). The truck coming down reversed up the steep slope to allow the upcoming one to negotiate the curve and open up the road. At this time all upcoming and downward traffic stood still as there was no way past the upcoming truck. The driver of the reversed truck left it to chat to other motorists and spectators who were standing around and watching the upcoming one, and apparently, the air brakes of his truck failed and it rolled over a boulder which he had placed on one of its front wheels and proceeded to ram the upcoming one...." - Molebatsi Seeiso Tsépo
