President Erdogan arrives in Northern Cyprus

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to make contacts.
Arriving at Ercan Airport at 13.15 with a private plane, Erdoğan was welcomed by TRNC President Ersin Tatar with an official ceremony.
President of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, ministers, Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces Commander Major General Zorlu Topaloğlu also took part in the reception.
President Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, AK Party Deputy Chairmen Ömer Çelik, Zafer Sırakaya, MHP Istanbul Deputy İsmail Faruk Aksu, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Head of National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın and Presidential Advisor Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç also arrived in TRNC.
Within the scope of the visit, President Erdoğan will inaugurate the new terminal building and runway at Ercan Airport and attend the ceremony to be held on 20 July Peace and Freedom Day.
