No fear, no courage: Real courage does not defend the ego

The real you is whole, not divided. The real you has no fear, and therefore needs no "courage." Only the false self has fear, the ego — the Devil's nature that made a home in you. Much of the time, "speaking up" is an effort to defend that ego, in which case true courage is staying quiet, and not defending the Devil.
