A man is being investigated after fatally shooting two suspected ATM robbers last weekend.

According to reports, this man was using a bank ATM in San Antonio last Friday. He had just gone through when two perps apparently attempted to rob him.

Not going down without a fight, the armed victim then shot at the two would-be robbers. According to FoxNews, police are considering it self-defense. Authorities have not released his identity to the public at this time.
The two alleged robbers were dead when authorities arrived. KENS5 reported their names to have been identified by police as Terrance Stevens and Mark Brooks III. All three individuals involved are thought to be in their 20s.

After the police investigation, the bank reopened. Other patrons had numerous questions about the incident. Many people were concerned to learn about the events of the day. One woman, who refused to give her name, spoke to KENS5.

“It’s getting really scary. We are not safe to go to our own banks,” she said.

Police Chief William Mcmanus gave a statement, telling the public that this is not the first incident. “This is a trend throughout the country right now.”
