North Dakota Gov. Burgum reaches fundraising requirement for first GOP primary debate

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum announced in an interview with CNN Wednesday that he has reached the 40,000 unique donors prerequisite to qualify for the first Republican presidential primary debate in August. Gov. Burgum will need to receive 1% or more in three national polls or in two national polls and two states in order to secure his spot on the debate stage.
