so want to throw up this video discussing the wall of the target closures in Canada that's just a that's just the tip of the iceberg it's gonna get worse because the middle class is being diminished in Canada it's gone the middle class is gone middle class is housebroke what we call it now housebroke means ever all the money they have they invest it into their house which they have another 90 years to pay off because the absorbent of the absorbent prices on the homes the interest rates not that bad it's the pricing of the homes which is the problem and everyone's house broke because you have guys that want to compete with their brothers in Arizona and have a three four bedroom house just like they do in Arizona say I got a four bedroom me too I got one in Vancouver but the problem is the house in Arizona is 40 grand and the house here are seven million dollars that's the problem are the teardown shack at seven million dollars here anyways I just thought I'd throw this up because target what's happened is they hired a bunch of people I mean they hired a lot lots of people which is nice but they also destroyed let's say for every person they hired they also destroyed three hundred or 18 jobs yeah for every one person they hired they destroyed 18 jobs 18 small business potential hires for small businesses as what I meant to say sorry so basically they get hired but 18 other people are out of work because of the small business or the small businesses that closed in response to opening that so for every action you know there is a reaction and now because the middle class is diminishing it's becoming a bigger problem because no one has any more money to spend on these doors and if people realize this before they open this big bucks crap and realized yeah it's a convenience so we are going to the washroom was a convenience for the last 2,000 years having a Washington your house is convenience but it's not taking away jobs this is not convenience this is more of a corporate takeover now that it's that that it's that it's now you're gonna have these abandoned structures everywhere decaying and falling apart and who's gonna what are they gonna open their carpet velour oh no small businessman can't afford that real estate anymore that's way over their heads anyways I just thought I'd put this up there because it's all over the news and everyone's talking about it on Facebook and I just thought I'd just throw that up there on my youtube and my thoughts of the target's closing and it's going to get worse because as the middle class disappears the middle class is the working class of is the heart of every society it's the ones it's that it's the class that pays the bills that pays their bills it's the class that pays their taxes it's the class that does everything so yeah so next election vote for a party that's pro pro pro working-class middle-class not for the rich and that for the poor just for the people that work their asses off anyways Mike Martin's Mike Martin's channel thank you for watching and have yourselves a great day ciao

One Target Canada store manager told CBC News that sales at his store should be offering discounts of 90 per cent on its final day and that prices will be slashed by up to 98 per cent in the last two hours.

Some Target locations may remain open after the final date to continue fixtures sales. As part of the company's liquidation process, everything must go in the stores including shelving, lighting, and office supplies.

Target Canada's three distribution centres and Mississauga, Ont., headquarters have already been shut down.

"We are pleased with the results of the liquidation sales to date and the speed at which we have moved through the wind-down process. We want to once again thank all Target Canada team members for their hard work and great adaptability through this process," said Aaron Alt, Target Canada CEO in a statement.

Target Canada was granted court protection from its creditors on Jan. 15, claiming it couldn't make a profit for at least another five years.

The retailer originally suggested that it would stick around until mid-May.

Many of Target Canada's roughly 17,600 employees will stay on the payroll past April 12. Workers are not getting severance, but the company said it would continue paying them their average working hours until mid-May.
