Study Of The Book Of Nehemiah - Rebuilding The Broken Walls & Lives Of The Captivity Returnees By Faith! | Neh. 10:30-32
• Neh. 10:30 If God's chosen people were going to witness for him in a pagan world, they needed united, God-fearing families. They also needed to avoid any enticements to worship the idols of the people who lived around them. This was why God prohibited marriage between Israelites and the pagan inhabitants of the land (Deu_7:3-4). But Israelites and pagans often intermarried anyway, and the results were disastrous for the families and for the nation. Time after time, marrying foreigners led God's people into idolatry (1Ki_11:1-11). Whenever the nation turned its back on God, it also lost its prosperity and influence for good.

• Neh. 10:31 The promise to forgive the sin of trading inside the city on the Sabbath was an application of the fourth commandment. The people recognized that the lure of money would conflict with the need for a day of rest, keeping the Sabbath holy. By deciding to honor God first, the Israelites would be refusing to make money their god. Our culture often makes us choose between convenience and profit on the one hand, and putting God first on the other. Look at your work and worship habits: Is God really first? Canceling all debts every seventh year was a part of the law (see Exo_23:10-11 and Deu_15:1-2). The people were reciting and promising to obey God's law and keep the covenant.

• Neh. 10:32 If in the individual lives of the members of God’s people, everything is directed toward God and lives are arranged according to His will, a common interest will also develop in prosperity. This is expressed in the care for the house of God, which is now the church of God. There will be a desire to arrange everything in the church as God prescribes in His Word (1Ti_3:15). There will be sufficient means to maintain the visible testimony. If there is no spirituality, hearts and purses will remain closed. If there is such a mind, both will open. Poverty of the people is not a barrier, if the consciences are exercised. When this happens, the possible will be given and sometimes more than the possible (2Co_8:1-5). God will then make sure that the lesser leads to the same result as the greater. This makes His greatness shine all the more, as is always the case where man relies more on God’s goodness.

Personal Supplication
Father, in the name of Jesus, my heart is set to do Your will. Make the impossible possible in my life as I depend solely on You alone. 2 Cor 8:1-5
Excel in Giving 8 Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia:
2 that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality.
3 For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,
4 imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
5 And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ

JESUS IS LORD!
