"On Saturday, April 21, the Where Angels Play Foundation dedicated a new playground at South Lido Park to the memory of the Ditmars brothers, who both died at a young age.

The Where Angels Play Foundation, which was founded and created after Superstorm Sandy and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, initially created 26 playgrounds to memorialize the lives lost at Sandy Hook as well as children who have been victims of violence. The foundation partnered with Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources to build the new playground.
