Climax Chicago Blues Band is a British rock band which formed in late 1968. The original members were guitarists Derek Holt and Pete Haycock, keyboardist Arthur Wood, bassist Richard Jones, drummer George Newsome and saxophonist Colin Cooper.
In 1970, the group changed its name to Climax Blues Band. He released 18 albums and reached number 10 in the UK TOP 40 in 1976 with Couldn't Get It Right and in 1981 in the US with I Love You.
