In this video:
We leave my marina in Key Largo and head out of Tavernier Creek and make out way towards the Islamorada humps. On the way to the Islamorada humps we find some good looking weed lines and decide to troll them.

The first thing we catch is a Blackfin tuna. Yummy, i love tuna. We start catching a whole bunch of blackfin tuna and Mahi. Many of the mahi are small peanuts but we do find some bigger ones.

We also hook into a Skipjack tuna which I thought was a wahoo at first the way it shot out of the water. It was a crazy sight! Those skipjack tuna are some powerful tuna!

We finally get to the islamorada humps and catch some more fish. We also try some bottom fishing but then call it a fishing day. Back at the Key Largo home I fillet the blackfin tuna, skipjack tuna and mahi in preparation for this catch and cook.

Time to taste test. Chris and I try both the skipjack tuna and the blackfin tuna blindfolded. The skipjack tuna was actually very good tasting and even better when it was seared!
I highly recommend trying the skipjack tuna if you ever catch one. It was actually hard to tell the difference between the 2 tuna. Hope you enjoyed this catch and cook video!
