In this catch and cook:

My buddy Tyler picks me up in Vero Beach, Florida and we drive south to Fort Pierce where we will be meeting with Chris Angelos who will be taking us out fishing on his hewes boat.

Before we even got on the hewes boat I already had a good feeling this fishing trip was going to turn into a catch n cook. But I didn't know we would be hooking monster fish! However, catching dinner is the most exciting form of fishing to me personally. Hooking into monster fish is just a bonus ride!

I brought some live shrimp to fish but Tyler quickly fills the live well with shad baits. These are great fish to use as live bait. Before we knew it we had already hooked into some bluefish, jack and ladyfish.

The Jack and ladyfish will make great grouper baits so we keep them alive for later action! I do say for Florida it was a bit chilly, I didn't bring very warm clothes and we were all getting a bit cold but that didn't stop us from catching dinner and hooking monster fish.

By 1am we have caught a few nice bluefish and bleed them out. Bluefish taste better when you bleed them out before eating them. Sorry chris that we got blood all over your hewes boat when we bled out the bluefish! Opps. At least we didn't throw a monster grouper on your hewes deck! heh

Before calling it a night of fishing we decide to use the ladyfish and jack as live bait and before we knew it we were hooked up in a river monster! I held on to the TLD 20 fishing rod as hard as I could! I thought this monster fish was going to rip the rod out of my hand, but I held on tight!

What a fun night of fishing. We decide to leave the monster fish alone as it's already 4am and we are all cold and tired. So we take the hewes back home for the catch and cook. After all, we come for the fishing but we stay for the catch n cook. Yummy! Time to eat some fish

In this catch n cook I show you how I smoke the fish and eat it, I also prepare some other meats in the smoker. In a day or 2 I will be uploading the full catch and cook fish video with the recipe.
