In this fun tuna fishing episode we head to the Marathon Humps here in the Florida keys to do some offshore fishing. Blackfin tuna and skipjack tuna made this fishing episode a great catch clean cook!

Dan and Elizabeth from the Florida Fishing Couple, take Caitlyn and I to Marathon to do some offshore fishing with Jeremy from Reel Hazardous. Ps: Caitlyn is the one and only South Florida Fishing Channel Girlfriend and you can be expecting a ton of fishing fun with her on future episodes here on the South Florida Fishing Channel. I do admit thou, we may have cheated a little with this Catch and Cook. It is a Catch Clean Cook but the restaurant did the cooking part for us, opps!

The initial gameplan was to run past the Marathon Humps and look for mahi in 800ft of water. But it seemed like the Tuna fishing was hot so we decided to really focus on making this a tuna catch and cook. There was birds everywhere on the Marathon humps. Usually birds anywhere in the Florida Keys are a big sign that fish are around! Anywhere offshore fishing really the sign is the same.

We do some offshore trolling around the birds and quickly hook up on blackfin tuna and skipjack tuna! What a blast! The tuna catch and cook was in the bag already! These will make for some great sashimi later.

You can almost always find tuna on the Florida Keys Humps. There are several other humps other than the Marathon humps, you have seen me fish the Islamorada humps many times.

Overall this was a great day of tuna fishing at the marathon humps, big thank you to Jeremy from Reel Hazardous for taking us out fishing. Another awesome day of Florida fishing here in the Florida keys, hope you enjoy the catch and cook!
