In this not catch and cook video:

I start by doing some beach fishing here in Vero Beach, Florida. Originally I thought that I would be doing a pompano catch and cook but it quickly turned into a slow day of fishing at the beach. Luckily there was no seaweed today shore fishing. We did catch some small pompano, a blue fish and a smaller bait fish jack sort of fish...

I used a pompano rig and we also have a chunk of fish out on the shark fishing reel. My buddy Tyler came to do some shore fishing with us and he had the shark rod. The conditions seemed perfect but this was just a slow day of florida fishing.

The next days of fishing... Chris Angelos calls me up and see's if I want to take his flats boat offshore for some flats fishing in the Indian River. Alright I say so I drive to fort pierce. On the way to do some Fort Pierce fishing I grab some live shrimp for bait to use in the indian river.

It was pretty windy and this quickly becomes a how not to catch fish. We do catch a variety of fish. A grunt, puffer fish, barracuda and catfish. I almost caught a snapper! Darn, this is 100% not going to turn into a catch and cook. Maybe i'll just eat a sand flea?

Fishing from a boat in the Indian River did not result in any sort of catch and cook. We take the boat back to Chris Angelos house and talk about the great fishing we had in Key Largo.

The next day I check the beach again, still with memories of the south on my mind. Mainly Key Largo. I need to fish clear waters again! The ocean has seaweed and I decide to get sushi instead and visit my boat. It felt good to see my boat again!

Ok that's it! I'm moving back to Key Largo. Florida Keys, here I come.
