Today we are fishing the Florida Everglades. The Everglades National Park to be specific and we are going to be catching tons of fish. Did I mention we are deep in the Florida Everglades? Which means... There's a big saltwater crocodile that is sure to check us out!

You can find both the saltwater crocodile and that freshwater alligator in the Florida Everglades. Let's just call them a croc and gator for short! We like to keep things simple while fishing here on the South Florida Fishing Channel.

We end up catching tons of fish. Tarpon and Snook. All while fishing artificial lures here in the Florida Everglades. Catching tons of fish means a big crocodile will hear the splashing and get excited. So after all our fishing we head back to the docks, little did we know we were being followed by a big saltwater crocodile.

The crocodile stalks my friend Phil Stanley while he takes the boat out of the water. In my head i'm thinking, will this be a crocodile attack? Will a big saltwater crocodile attack my friend? How will I tell him mom a crocodile while fishing ate my friend...

I will not let this become a crocodile attack! I warn Phil about the imminent gator attack. I know it's a big saltwater crocodile but maybe I should just tell him it's a big gator instead. And alligator attack sounds less scary when you have been fishing florida your whole life and always see gators.

Saltwater fishing sure gets exciting with these big saltwater crocodiles ready to attack a fish. We are not the only ones catching fish in Florida. These crocodiles love to catch fish. It seems that this big saltwater crocodile was more interested in attacking a fish and attacking my friend. Although the crocodile stalks my friend for a while at the boat ramp.

I'm happy this episode did not turn into a crocodile attack while fishing video. Or even a gator attack while fishing video. I couldn't have asked for a better day of fishing in Florida. I'm sure you know but my name is Heiko Winkler and I LOVE catching fish in Florida, after all this is the South Florida Fishing Channel!
