We are in Key Largo and plan on fishing the Islamorada humps. I have fished the Islamorada humps many times on the South Florida Fishing Channel, but this time it's with some great friends on a Contender!

Originally we want to catch mahi mahi and tuna, but after trolling offshore we decide it's time to run and gun the weed patches to find the mahi. I have a light tackle rod setup so this should be some good dorado action. I actually have 2 light tackle rods setup for fishing mahi. This better be a catch clean and cook I bet you're thinking. Yes we will catch mahi on light tackle. I promise my fishing friends.

We run into a school of mahi and throw them cut bait and live bait. We quickly catch mahi on light tackle and secure this catch and cook episode. 5 dolphin in the boat on light tackle but we want to do more fishing!

We do some bottom drifting and catch more fish. Trigger fish. This catch n cook is so in the bag. Lazy lobster here we come! But what catch clean and cook at Lazy Lobster is complete without Lobster? Ok we have to catch lobster! So on the way back to key largo we stop at the reef and catch lobster. Lazy Lobster in key largo will clean lobster and cook lobster for us. How great. They will make Diablo Lobster which is the best way to cook lobster I have ever seen!

I give big thanks for the people at Lazy Lobster in key largo for putting up with us and doing such a great lobster catch and cook for us. I also show you how to clean mahi and they do cook mahi for us at Lazy Lobster but I did not get that on video, maybe in a future fishing catch n cook episode!

Boy do I love lobster. I love mahi mahi, dorado, dolphin, whatever you want to call them. And I love fishing on light tackle. This was an epic lobster catch and cook video with plenty of mahi catch clean and cook action!
