Lots going on in Europe. Putin has vowed revenge for another attack on the Kerch Bridge connecting Russia to Crimea. Moscow has blamed Ukraine for the attack, for which it has yet to take responsibility. This act appears out of frustration, because it would cost Ukraine on the order of 200,000 casualties were it to attempt to retake Crimea--and even then it would be unsuccessful in attaining that goal. In response, Russia has closed the Black Sea and imposed a blockade on Odessa. Some are suggesting it's time they took the port itself. Wagner forces are in Belarus, which has tactical nuclear weapons, which has caused major concern in Baltic states. And Lithuania has called for abandoning "the Founding Law", whereby Russia agreed to the expansion of NATO as long as no permanent bases would be constructed within there. Zelensky has requested the mobilization of 200,000 more in Ukraine, but where are they going to come from? US cluster bombs have already arrived in Ukraine amidst reports that they have yet to be deployed. A Ukrainian general claims they are going to make a difference, but that is highly unlikely--and Russia has cluster bombs of its own. Biden has justified sending them on the ground that there is a shortage of 155mm howitzer rounds, where they are being sent in the form of 155mm artillery munitions. Efforts to stop the transfer failed in the House, where it appears the US Congress remains Israeli-occupied territory. Bear in mind that this proxy war is not between the US and Russia but between Israel and Russia, where Israel is using the US to accomplish its objectives. They will fight Russia to the last American soldier. The Babylon Bee captures the situation exactly when Zelensky calls up 3,000 US reservists as our "Commander in Chief". That's about right! Biden nibbling at a frightened child provides a disgusting display of the creep in the Oval Office. Nobody likes the guy, whose favorability ratings are said to be abound 9%--not more.
