Biden beefs up campaign leadership as he looks to build on fundraising momentum

Following a successful fundraising quarter, President Joe Biden’s campaign has enlisted the support of three trusted allies to lead the next phase of his 2024 election campaign.

In an effort to bolster fundraising efforts, Biden’s team has welcomed three longtime allies to key leadership roles.

The President, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, managed to raise over $72 million in the second quarter through various entities linked to their reelection, including the campaign and joint fundraising committees.

Notably, the campaign committee alone amassed nearly $20 million, CNBC reported.

CNBC initially reported that Rufus Gifford, who previously served in Biden’s State Department, has returned to the campaign as the 2024 finance chair.
