Thomas Almeida was 21-0 with 19 stoppages and ranked No. 7 in the UFC’s bantamweight division. His opponent, Cody Garbrandt, was 8-0 with seven stoppages, but was nowhere to be found on the rankings. In less than three minutes into the fight, that all changed. Garbrandt knocked down Almeida with a vicious punch before the fight was stopped, handing Almeida his first loss.
