We are the "Rebel Collective". Just two rebels that have been de-platformed, deleted, shadow banned, persecuted, and muzzled, and were going to be leading the other rebels and pioneers in their fields and give them a voice that can't be silenced because we're the resistance.
Leon Isaac Kennedy, a true pioneer in the realms of entertainment, entrepreneurship, and ministry. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Leon's extraordinary journey defies conventional norms and embodies the spirit of resilience, creativity, and unwavering determination.

From an early age, Leon dared to dream, setting his sights on becoming a movie star, writer, and producer when opportunities for minorities were scarce. Undeterred by the limited prospects, he formulated a plan, embarking on a path that would change the landscape of the industry forever.

As a teenager, Leon found his initial foothold in the world of radio, becoming the youngest disc jockey in a top-ten market. His charismatic voice and passion for music charmed listeners across Cleveland, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Houston, and Los Angeles, earning him the moniker of "Leon The Lover."

But his ambitions didn't stop at radio. Leon's visionary spirit led him to become a trailblazer in television, co-writing, producing, and co-hosting the nation's first black syndicated TV series, "Outta Sight." Breaking barriers, he syndicated the show to over 20 cities, well before the emergence of groundbreaking shows like "In Living Color.”

Leon's indomitable drive propelled him into the world of major motion pictures, where he made an indelible mark as a writer, actor, and producer. Films like "Penitentiary" shattered box office records across the country, and became the Number 1 Independent Film of the Year!, earning critical acclaim and solidifying his position as a filmmaker's icon, showcasing his work globally and opening doors for future minority filmmakers. Kennedy continued with “Penitentiary II” and “III”; “Body and Soul” with the unconquerable Muhammad Ali and Jayne Kennedy; “Lone Wolf McQuade” with Chuck Norris and David Carradine, as well as starred in films with Academy Award Winners, such as Ernest Borgnine and Anne Archer.

To dispel the myth – “that Black Films have no overseas commercial value,” Kennedy was one of the First Minority Filmmakers to travel to The Cannes and The Mifed Film Festivals. Additionally, Kennedy broke barriers and traveled to Russia and China, long before most Americans were welcomed into those countries. Kennedy’s “Body and Soul,” was one of the first American films to be purchased by the Chinese government! and started the trend for importation of American films.

As a result, Kennedy’s films played in virtually every country in the world and opened many doors for today’s minority filmmakers. Entertainers like Ice Cube, Snoop Dog, Robert Townsend and many others credit Leon as their inspiration to wear multiple types of hats, and many call Leon, “The Godfather of this generation of minority filmmakers.”

The kid from Cleveland had reached his goal – that rare Hollywood air – he was featured on “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” appeared on hundreds of magazine covers, was invited to The Academy Awards, the Grammy’s, the Emmy’s and “The A-List only parties.”

But his journey took an unexpected turn when Leon, at the height of his Hollywood success, answered a higher calling. Turning his back on fame and fortune, he devoted himself to full-time ministry, utilizing his creative skills and spiritual insight to help others find their own paths to healing and transformation. His ministry has helped and touched countless lives, bringing light and deliverance to those in need.

Now, after over two decades away from the spotlight, Leon returns, combining his creative genius with his spiritual calling. His upcoming projects aim to produce content that inspires, motivates, and sheds light on real truth. Through documentaries, television, and transformative films, Leon seeks to possess the airwaves as a force for good, making a lasting impact on the world.

Behind the scenes, Leon is known as a no holds barred, pulling no punches, jabbing you with an unfiltered and poetic delivery of truth, wisdom, and unyielding passion for empowering others to embrace their inner greatness and break free from the chains of societies limitations.

Join us as we delve into the remarkable life of Leon Isaac Kennedy, a man who defied limitations, shattered barriers, and embraced the power of creativity, entrepreneurship, and spirituality to create a legacy that transcends mere entertainment.
