Immigrants Speak Week 24: Maria from Cuba: The Cancer of Communism Is Spreading Through The World

Maria was born in Havana, Cuba in 1963. Her family, excepting her father, left Cuba under political asylum granted by Mexico. Her father stayed behind and was a political prisoner for 17 years, whom Maria finally met when she was 20 years old. Maria came to the United States at 5 years old and grew up in Miami, Florida. Today, Maria is based in Nevada, and is a successful business owner, non-profit organization manager, community-leader and active freedom advocate for the people of Cuba and around the world. She also served as the President of the Cuban Heritage Foundation.

Today she tells us her personal story, and what's happening worldwide under the Cuban and Chinese regimes which are spreading the cancer of communism surreptitiously all through South and Central America, and the world. #communism #cuba #immigrants
