Catching Blue Crabs in the Shadow of Fort Frederica -- St. Simons, Georgia

What's up, Slack Tiders? On this episode, we're back on the water pursuing one of my favorite activities, hand lining Georgia blue crabs.

It's August in Coastal Georgia, almost too hot to fish, but the hotter the water, the more active the blue crabs. I had about two hours to kill, so I grabbed $1.78 of chicken necks and headed up the Frederica River to let those bad boys soak.

Crabbing is a great way to spend a few hours. It's inexpensive, and usually, will keep just about anyone entertained. I caught about 12-15 keepers in about an hour.
