Janee's Big Surprise

Info From Licensor: "My oldest daughter Janee had been looking into adopting a dog even though I told her we would not be getting a dog because she already has 4 sisters. EVERY SINGLE DAY after school for about three months, she would show me different dogs that need homes. It got to the point that I noticed myself looking at these websites in my own time and following Facebook Animal Shelters. Since Janee was so interesed in dogs I decided to let her get all her dog love out at an event in our town. It was called Woofstock and I figured she would enjoy playing with some dogs and giving some dogs a lot of love. The Tracy Area Animal Rescue was there and had some of their dogs that needed homes at the event. That is where Janee met Marian (now named ROXY). Janee never left the dogs side. She walked her around, took her to the dog park, layed next to the kennel and just completely fell in love. I secretly ended up falling in love with her as well. Every day since then she would check to make sure she was still available for adoption, never knowing I was already in contact with TAAR about adopting her. The week before I was going to pick her up from her foster home, Janee noticed that Roxys picture was no longer on the site and asked me to call and see if she was adopted. I pretended to call and told her she was. Janee began to cry and sob. I felt so bad for having to lie but it made the surprise even better. The day I picked up Roxy, Janee was at after school program which gave me time to set up all of Roxys thing in the house. Her sisters came home and were shocked that I adopted her. We then waited for Janee to get off the bus and the video was able to capture the amazing moment. It was a beautiful surprise and Roxy has been a great addition to the family.
