Should Student Loan Interest be 0 And How Do We Address This Issue?

Student loans are one of the biggest tethers preventing young adults from even having a chance at having the life previous generations took for granted. Yes they took out the loans, but to argue they didn't have a lifetime of brainwashing into doing so is disingenuous. What are some middle grounds we can come to?
