The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Chantel Kona Barreda, a teacher with a BA and Masters degrees in education. When she caught covid, a friend gave her Ivermectin. She made a quick recovery and now had natural immunity.
At the school, the students endured months of plastic barriers, masks, sanitizers, and 6ft distancing. Then, the government introduced vaccine passports. Chantel knew this would be the end of her teaching job, but she remained unvaccinated. She applied for unemployed benefits and made a complaint to the human rights board. Both were denied. She describes the depression and anxiety experienced by her family as well as the discrimination faced when she went looking for employment because of her vaccine status.
Chantel wants Canadians to sharpen their critical thinking skills and to start standing up for what's right.
