This is the third game of the fifth 1834 unofficial world chess championship match between Louis-Charles Mahé de La Bourdonnais and Alexander McDonnell.

McDonnell is leading one game to zero, and he has one of the world's greatest military geniuses on his side.
Can he increase is lead, or will the French aristocrat make a comeback?
Perhaps more importantly, can I come up with any original jokes?
