These Italians Try Vegan Food & Aren't Very Impressed

There's nothing better than sitting down to an authentic Italian meal where you can stuff your pie-hole with delicious, gluten-filled pasta smothered in decadent meat sauce and cheese. So naturally, we thought it would be a good idea to have Italians try the LA version of Italian food — vegan and gluten free.

To no one’s surprise, these people’s emotions range from disgust to absolute hate when we serve them a “traditional” spaghetti and meatball dish from a vegan restaurant. When one guy was asked if he would eat this on a date, he responds with a mere, “If I hate the girl, then yeah.”

And according to the man who grew up with family whose “name’s he won’t mention because he was connected a little bit,” the only thing missing to make this meal decent would be “a nice Italian red wine to, you know, put the gluten back in the meal.”

We’re not quite sure if there’s gluten in wine, but red wine basically makes everything better, so he has a point.

Although they reluctantly keep eating the “over-cooked gluten noodles,” it comes to our attention that this is the only time they’ll do so; unless they’re in a nuclear war and stuck in a basement.

Click play to see more of their reactions — we might even get threatened by the mob for making these poor men and women do this.
