The Courage of Our Convictions

"The Courage of Our Convictions" will discuss with Barbara Buzzard and Alane Rozelle the need to be courageous in our faith and put words and deeds behind it. There is no room for a church of cowards and we know that Jesus' last words to the church were stern. We cannot be lukewarm, and if we left our first love we must promptly return before Jesus does!

Courage only shines through when we are tested and have to stand up for what we believe despite the cost or how lonely the road may be. A believer's courage must be in connection with their convictions, or are they really convinced of anything?

Unfortunately, many people have misplaced their loyalty and have given it to organizations, rather than to the truth.

We will be considering some points that Matt Walsh bravely brings out in his book, "Church of Cowards," and we will be looking at our own beliefs and how we must apply those same principles. (Walsh is a Catholic and a trinitarian and we do not believe or support either.) We will consider moral and spiritual/doctrinal issues.
