Inside the Beautiful & Disturbing World of Scorn

A Cinematic Photo Mode Journey through the Amazing World of Scorn.
Set to music from 1986 Aliens.

It's been a little while since I have uploaded a Photo Mode video.
This one has been sitting on a Hard Drive since Oct 2022 when the game first released.
All content was recorded from that version.
This was made using the Unreal Engine Unlocked.

I recorded 360gb of footage for this and potentially another video.
102 video files = roughly 3hrs of content.

Somethings may have changed in the game with updates and patches since this was recorded.

This is a great game, disturbing in so many ways.
The world is bleak and beautiful at the same time.
It's not often I have come across a game that left uneasy feelings inside me.
But this game hit it on the head and for that I can appreciate the work that went into this disturbing game.

Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry.

It is designed around the idea of "being thrown into the world". Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. The unsettling environment is a character itself.

Every location contains its own theme (story), puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world. Throughout the game you will open up new areas, acquire different skill sets, weapons, various items and try to comprehend the sights presented to you.
