The Lost Art of American Trash

America's chief export used to be high quality content and culture with the rough, trashy edges that made us notorious throughout the world. Loud, brash, and carefree were the unspoken Made in America stamps letting other countries know that we weren't going to bend to their will. In recent decades however, the reaches of our influence have weakened and we've furiously polished away our trashiness in the hope of strengthening them again. This is the exact opposite of what we should be doing.

American Trash is a lost art, unsurprisingly as many of our former trash artists have passed away without any viable successors lined up. Those of us suffering through a polished America need to revive the trashiness in our souls that we've repressed for far too long. We need to produce top tier goods, services, content, and culture so the rest of the world fights for a front row seat to watch us instead of telling us to wipe our feet at the door.
