The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Bridget Hounjet, a federal public service worker. As a new mother, she faced anxiety over the mandates and was concerned about the effects on breastfeeding. She chose not to get the covid vaccine and continued testing to keep her job. When testing was no longer acceptable, she was put on unpaid leave. Bridget filed a human rights claim and applied for unemployment benefits, but both were denied. She describes being worried for her children's future and the financial struggles she endured. The company called her back, and she is presently working. However, with the possibility of it happening again, Bridget lives with constant stress and anxiety.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
