On Friday, President Biden’s reelection campaign revealed that it had raised over $72 million in the second quarter of fundraising.

The campaign also disclosed that it currently has $77 million in cash on hand, marking the highest total ever amassed by a Democrat at this stage of the campaign.

These figures represent the first fundraising numbers released by the campaign since President Biden and Vice President Harris officially launched their reelection bid in April.

Notably, President Biden’s second-quarter fundraising surpassed that of former President Trump by more than double, as reported by The Hill.

In a statement, the Biden campaign highlighted that their team significantly outperformed the announced fundraising totals of all GOP presidential candidates, including Donald Trump by more than 2:1 and Ron DeSantis by more than 3:1.
