Tourist falls into river during religious ceremony in India

While participating in a Puja ceremony at the Laksamon Jula Bridge on the Holy Ganges River in Rishakesh, India, this tourist attempts to walk out into the water alongside everyone else. But she doesn't realize that the stairs she is on continue down into the river. Since she can't see through the murky flowing water, she thinks she's standing on a solid platform. Epic fail! She ended up breaking her DSLR and her iPhone, damaging her passport and was emotionally scarred thinking that her new ankle tattoo was going to get infected!
