Location: Davis Lane Pond, Bozeman, Montana, USA
Occurrence Date: December 9, 2015
Info From Licensor: "Taking a walk around the Davis Lane Pond it was already quite windy (gusts to 25-30 mph) and there were a few Tumbleweeds being blown around. To the west you could see a big nasty storm wall moving in, and I started to hurry to get back to the car as I watched it slam into the Bridger Mountains to the north. As I got back to the car the storm wall hit and winds picked up to 50+ mph and an enormous wave of tumbleweeds hit. The 1000s of Spiny Russian Thistles blew by and continued to pile up on over vertical surface facing west." -Tom Forwood Jr.
