Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - July 14, Day 195 - Micah

Welcome to Day 195, July 14th, 2023. We read a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah, the prophet Micah. Micah speaks of the judgement to come on Israel and Judah, woe to the evildoers and the lying prophets. Wicked rulers and prophets are mentioned, The Lord will reign in Zion, Zion will have a future triumph, The Messiah will be born in Bethlehem and the coming message about Him, judgement will come to Israel's enemies, and a call to wait on the God of Salvation after Israel's confession and comfort. The Lord will forgive Israel. This is a book of judgement and also hope from the Lord. This marks the beginning and the end of the Book of Micah.
