El Salvador is back as a Safe Country but there are concerns. Could it become a future Dictatorship?

The country is now safe for both citizens and tourists, but can citizens and journalists openly criticize aspects of the government without fear of reprisal? Not everything is what it seems by looking in from the outside. We speak with many El Salvadorian people here to get the inside scoop.

MS13 is gone, but some claim they imprisoned many innocent people who were not gang members. And by suspending many cherished constitutional rights, there is no way to demand a trial or submit evidence to free them.

We also tried to pay for everything using only Bitcoin. We failed. Even though El Salvador legalized Bitcoin as legal tender, it isn't widely adopted by the population despite the efforts of the government. We also uncover how the government behind this Bitcoin initiative is rising to become an authoritarian and could potentially become Latin America's next dictatorship.
