Yeshua Ben Yosef - JESUS CHRIST

“Jesus” or “Yeshua” is a personal name. “Christ” is Greek for “Annointed One.” Which is to say Messiah or Meshiach, since you seem to like the Aramaic. “Jesus Christ” means “Jesus (is) Messiah”. Now you pursue that designation through Son of David, Son of God, Son of Man, Logos, and all the other titles associated with Jesus.

The New Testament was written in Greek, not Aramaic or Hebrew. “Yeshua” in Greek comes out “Iesus.” Pronounced “Yay-zoos.” After migrating through Latin, the I acquired a tail and it became, in English, “Jesus.” Same guy.
