Soldier Gives Son The Best Surprise Birthday Gift

When the soldiers get deployed overseas, they don't see their families for months. More often than not, they miss big family events, like birthdays and Christmases. It is hard on both the families and the soldiers during those times. Though some of them do get to come back just in time to celebrate with their loved ones, the members who seem to be suffering the most have to be the little children.

Alec has just had his birthday yesterday, but one person was missing from the party. Alec's dad was deployed for a long time, serving in the U.S. Air Force. Today's Alec's mom called him up to come on the porch of their house, because there was a present waiting for him, wrapped in a huge box! What could it be?

The little man comes running, eager to open his present, when something rustles the paper from inside. Surprised but still curious, Alec rips the paper from the box and opens the flap to reveal probably the best present he will ever get!
