A Ukrainian soldier was almost buried alive after being hit by Russian artillery. The people of Kiev were hiding in a trench near Malaya Tokmachka when a shell exploded. The unit narrowly avoided a direct hit that would have killed them all. But as a result of the explosion, part of the trench wall collapsed, completely burying one soldier. Fortunately, his comrades were able to dig him out of the mud quickly. Malaya Tokmachka was the center of Ukraine's counterattack in the south.c It was here that the failed attack led to the destruction of dozens of Western vehicles.
