Terrifying Thermal Camera Capture

After experiencing tapping on our house windows and growling, I went outside in the back garden with a thermal camera (set to Black Hot) and at around 17 seconds, I hear a growl coming from the bottom of the garden behind our garage. I then see what appears to be a very large clawed hand come around the corner of the garage. That was me done and I went back inside.

FYI - The dark half circular object in the sky is the moon.

Since the thermal camera was set to Black Hot, the hand was hot (Black) and the claws were cold as they appeared to be white.

The thermal camera used was a Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 Thermal Imaging Monocular. It's a not a cheap thermal imaging device. But it does start with a 2x zoom as standard, which is not great for shorter distances.
