Tekashi 6ix9ine 'Death' Claim Debunked: Fake News Alert!

New York, NY (LG) - Since last week, people have been claiming that the popular rapper 6ix9ine, Daniel Hernandez, known professionally as Tekashi 6ix9ine was found dead in New York.

The story is circulating on social network that the rapper is dead. The story originates from a very old fake news source.

In 2018, writer Pablo Reyes Jr published on his website Huzlers.com that 6ix9ine died of overdose at the age of 22. The website writes: "22 Year old Daniel Hernandez famously know as Tekashi 69 was found dead by boyfriend in his New York apartment of an apparent LIGMA overdose" and the website is guilty of defamation by suggesting that he has an underage boyfriend and his sexuality: "His 14 year-old boyfriend Julio Gomez found the rapper unconscious and called the paramedics immediately after he couldn’t wake him up he was pronounced dead at the scene," Huzlers continues.

Three days ago 6ix9ine published a video on Instagram in which he talks about his new release not being picked up by streaming services, you can conclude from this that the rapper is still alive.
