Welcome to Day 194, July 13th, 2023. We read Jothan reigning in Jerusalem, his accomplishments and how he feared the Lord, and his son Ahaz reigning after him. In Isaiah, we read of the Promised Son being prophesied to have the government on His Shoulders, having the Names Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. This is a prophecy of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. The punishment of Samaria, judgement of Assyria, and the reign of Jesse's Offspring are mentioned. A Hymn of Praise of given to the Lord.
