The Coleman Dunnock Cold Weather Sleeping Bag, 20°F is the perfect sleeping bag for cold weather camping. Its designed to keep you warm and cozy even in temperatures as low as 20°F.
I was so impressed with this sleeping bag that I decided to buy a second one to make a queen-sized sleeping bag for me and my partner. The material of this sleeping bag is both soft and thick, making it incredibly comfortable to sleep in.
When coupled with an air mattress or sleeping pad, it provides excellent insulation from the ground, keeping you warm throughout the night. I really appreciate the fact that its not slippery and noisy like some other sleeping bags.
The inside pocket is a great addition as it allows me to keep my phone close by without disturbing my family in the morning. However, I did deduct a star because I found the quality of the zipper to be poor.
After just a few uses, I lost the end box of the zipper, which was quite inconvenient. Despite this issue, I found alternative ways to use the sleeping bag, either folded over but unzipped or as a quilt/underpad.
To prevent any further zipper mishaps, I sewed a bunch of stitches at the end of the zipper using automobile thread. I hope that this second sleeping bag I bought will last longer and not have any zipper problems.
The dimensions of this sleeping bag are 37"x79", which is not mentioned in the product description but is important information to know. One great feature of this sleeping bag is the anti-snag zipper, which really lives up to its name.
I wish I could retrofit this zipper onto my other sleeping bags as it works wonderfully. However, I did notice that wind can get in through the sleeping bag.
On windy nights, I would highly recommend using it inside a tent for better protection from the elements. Overall, this sleeping bag is super comfortable and warm to sleep in.
I particularly appreciate the flannel material, which adds an extra layer of comfort when the night is not too cold.
