Flamengo Park: The Untold Story of the Largest Green Area in Rio

When you come to Rio, you'll see a lot of what we call "weekend athletes" and one of their go to places is precisely this park/beach which I'll be showing you in this video and of course which has a lot of history.
Beginning with the name Flamengo itself which is the portuguese word for Flemish. But what do the people of Flanders have to do with the history of Rio, you ask? Watch this video and you'll find out.
