Biden: NATO’s unity withstood Putin’s ‘craven lust for land and power’

President Joe Biden touted the strength of NATO’s unity in aiding Ukraine against Russian President Vladimir Putin during a closing speech at the alliance’s 74th annual summit in Lithuania Wednesday. “[Putin] thought our unity would shatter at the first testing. He thought Democratic leaders would be weak,” Biden said. “But he thought wrong.”
