Wagner weapons seized by Russian army – MoD

The dismantling of the Wagner private military company continues, as Russian Armed Forces take possession of the company’s arsenal of weapons.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, more than 2,000 units of equipment and heavy weaponry have been handed over, including hundreds of tanks, multiple rocket launch systems such as the ‘Grad’ and ‘Uragan,’ the Pantsir air defense missile system, self-propelled artillery units, armored personnel carriers, and more. Some of this weaponry has never been used in combat, the Ministry noted.

The arsenal, which also includes 20,000 small arms units and 2,500 tons of ammunition, will be transported to maintenance divisions for use in repairs or deployment to the front lines.
