NBA Players Prove They Can Move Off The Court As Well

Brandon Davies entered the NBA in the 2014-2015 season, drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers and then traded to the Brooklyn Nets. After being waived by the Nets he has recently signed with the French professional basketball team Élan Chalon.

But when the time came for Brandon to enter the marital games, he brought out something completely different. Joined by some of his former teammates from his college days at Brigham Young University (including Jimmer Fredette who is now playing for the New Orleans Pelicans) Brandon gives his wife Lenzie Quist an epic and hilarious surprise groomsmen dance. Watch him absolutely crush the Carlton!

They don’t stop there! His former teammate and BYU linebacker Kyle Van Noy peppered the dance floor with his delicate toe-tapping routine!

Of course, no group dancing routine would be complete without the classic Whip/Nae Nae dance and the tall boys slayed it. People were whooping and clapping to the beat, letting these fine Cougar athletes do their own thing.

Brandon’s career may be waning, but he should have no fear. He could always translate his basketball court moves into dance moves. He looks damn fine doing it!

Many couples try and hold onto tradition when it comes to their wedding, but what we find especially adorable is that many other couples decide to waive the classics and start a tradition of their own. Today, it is not at all unusual to see the groom and his groomsmen band together for some kind of an epic dance off for the bride’s eyes, front and center.

The venue is pristine; the tables are set. The dance floor is cleared so that the bride and groom can have their first dance. But wait…they are dancing to… what? Are they really playing the… oh yes they are… The Baby Shark song! Doo, doo, doo! And don’t worry, they know all the right moves too! How precious is this couple who decided to forgo the traditional “first dance” in exchange for their version of the “Baby Shark Song”—which really should bring memories back to everyone of their childhood!

So many can relate to the fond memory of riding the bus on the way to school, singing silly songs with your friends, trying to wake up before you get to your incredibly boring dinosaur of a homeroom teacher! That is the beauty of what this couple has done. They have taken a moment out of the most important day in their lives, and they’ve brought everyone around them into the moment with them. Just look at the faces of their guests as they embrace when the song finishes. This is a moment that the couple will of course remember forever, but it is also one that all of their guests will remember.

In the world of so much pressure that we all feel every day concerning what we are “supposed” to do, it is truly refreshing to find two people so perfectly suited for one another who are not afraid to be different and put a smile on the faces of everyone around them.
