European scythe vs English scythe

That's an English scythe whether you like it or not, it was made in England others can be made elsewhere but this one came from England. The European blade is Austrian so made in Austria other blades can be made anywhere else in the world. Its more about how the blades are made not where they come from. European blades are maluable steel so are peened sharp, whereas the English blades are much harder and have a brittle steel core, these blades have to be ground sharp.
